A demonstration of the Adaptation Catalogue for Conservation (AdaptLog)

AdaptLog is an online, searchable repository of conservation interventions for climate adaptation. It has been designed to help you access and understand information on a wide range of adaptation options. AdaptLog includes many instances of novel and transformative approaches to conservation under rapid climate change. By collating these interventions, we hope to facilitate learning between practitioners, and seeding productive collaborations.

Our intent is not to create a tool that narrows down the “best” response in your situation, instead, we hope to help you in thinking more creatively about what could be possible. AdaptLog has been designed to return options you may not have considered before, rather than narrowing down to what has been done in your area, or for your species. The intent is to foster transformation and innovation in Australia's biodiversity conservation system under climate change. We put the emphasis on encouraging people to think innovatively and consider adopting approaches from different places and contexts. Our User Guide - available on the 'About' page - is designed to help you explore, test, and evaluate version 2 of this draft product. Any questions or feedback, please reach out to the project team.
